NYC Pathways to Industrial & Construction Careers (PINCC)
Our mission is to build a robust pipeline of skilled candidates and connect them to stable employment and advancement opportunities in the construction, industrial, transportation, and building maintenance sectors. We fund training programs developed in collaboration with industry employers and unions and work with established training programs in the region to connect candidates to in demand positions.
PINCC trainings include:
Building Maintenance: Trained for jobs as janitorial and cleaning staff.
Maritime Deckhands: Trained to work on ferries, water taxis, and tour boats.
General Construction & Trades: Trained for construction apprenticeship and construction trades positions.
Commercial Drivers: CDL B permit preparation and licenses to obtain in-demand union driving jobs.
Masonry Restoration: Equipped for employment with leading Masonry firms in NYC.
Automotive Fleet Technician Pre-Apprenticeship: Suited to participants with automotive training in the Career & Technical High Schools, leads to apprenticeship positions with the Machinists Union.
HVAC: A combination of classroom and hands-on on-the-job training with HVAC employers.
Security Guard: The security guard industry focuses on the employment of security guards whose mission is to protect people, property, and assets from theft, vandalism, terrorism, and other threats. The sector supports both public and private security.
