Motivating Youth to Achievement (MY2K)
In order to meet the long term employment and social needs of the “aging out” foster care youths of New York City, the Consortium for Worker Education (CWE) and the New York City Central Labor Council (CLC) have partnered with the Catholic Charities (CC) and Fordham University’s Graduate School of Social Service to develop a program that gives this population access to training and apprenticeships leading directly into unionized employment.
