Worker Service Centers

Using funding from the New York City Council and the New York State Department of Education, CWE has established the Worker Service Center Program. This initiative is designed to provide basic educational, vocational and job placement opportunities for adults across the five boroughs.

Among the available courses and programs are:

• English as a Second Language
• General Equivalency Diploma
• Introduction to Computers
• Computer software operation
• A+ Certification
• Citizenship and Civics
• Parenting skills
• Pre vocational training
• Job readiness and life skills
• Culinary Skills training
• Artisan baking
